| Description |
|
This is a visa, which entitles the applicant and their dependents to live and work in the UK for 5 years.
|

| If you have a grand parent who was born in the UK, or you are a dependant of someone who qualifies for the Ancestral Visa. If your Grandparent was born in the Republic of Ireland before 1922, you may still qualify. |

IF ONE OF YOUR FOUR GRANDPARENTS WERE BORN IN THE UNITED KINGDOM YOU CAN WORK FOR 5 YEARS PROFESSIONALLY IN THE UK.
* Valid ORDINARY passport + any old expired passports * X2 colour passport photos
* Past 3 months history of all your Bank and investment accounts. (Original or stamped statements) * Statements must reflect sufficient funds. (Please consult with the OVC) * Sponsors bank statements. * Debit orders, big or small, should be brought to the attention of your OVC consultant. * Proof of intent to work in the UK (Please consult with the OVC) * Proof of UK Accommodation (Please consult with the OVC) * Divorce papers * Marriage certificates * If Adopted - Show marriage certificates of your parents and grandparents, and legal adoption papers if you or your parents are adopted.

* Your grandparent must have been born in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland before 31 March 1922
* Your husband, wife and children under 18 years of age can join you in the UK if you can support them. And they have a visa.

PLEASE NOTE In the case of South African Full birth certificates it is recommended that you supply vault copies. If you have unabridged birth certificates .It is suggested that you also supply as many corroborating documents to assist the Immigration officer Eg. Applications are generally processed within 5 - 10 working days. This would be at the discretion of the entry clearance officer. All documentation required should be submitted. Do not leave anything to chance.

X-rays are required at immigration on arrival.
Advisable to obtain a police clearnce prior to arrival in the UK, as some employers require them. At present this is not a requirements for visas.
