OVC is delighted to provide young people over the age of 18 years, the exciting option to study, live and work in London as a student!

OVC works exclusively with a number of UK licensed and accredited Colleges based in central London to bring you an affordable and realistic way to develop an international career by studying and working in London.

With courses starting throughout the year, you can be in London sooner than you think. Study requirements are 15 supervised hours per week at College, with the ability to work between 10 to 20 hours per week during term time and full time during holidays. And with 16 weeks’ holiday per 12 month enrolment, you will have time to explore London, the UK and Europe. Offering degree level and post graduate (masters’ degree level) courses, there is a course option available for those with or without academic qualifications. Candidates who simply have work experience can still apply and be accepted!

UK Postgraduate Courses (UK Masters Degree level 7 qualification):
Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management

MBA (Master of Business Administration)



All courses are internationally recognised, UK accredited and externally examined by the Association of Business Executives (ABE). All course subjects listed above are available at Certificate level, Diploma Level and Advanced Diploma level (equivalent to UK Degree Year 2). Candidates without any formal qualifications will be considered for entry at Certificate or Diploma level.
Eligibility
- Certificate level - No formal qualifications are required but applicants should demonstrate competence in English.
- Diploma level – Senior Matric Certificate with the word ‘endorsement’ shown OR employment letter(s) showing two years’ or more work experience*.
- Advanced Diploma level – A UK Honours degree OR equivalent overseas qualification.
- Postgraduate level - An ABE Advanced Diploma in any subject (further study requirements level 6 qualification) from another internationally recognised awarding body OR five years senior management experience

All applicants must be able to demonstrate the requirements needed to obtain a UK Student Visa. Your local OVC Consultant will assist you understand the process and help you make your UK visa application.

*Letters must be signed by the employer(s) and must be dated to prove 24+ months employment.

   
Start/Finish Dates
Courses start throughout the year. Next intakes are September and January 2011.
Advanced Diploma and above:
Students have to complete 15 hours of supervised study at the college per week
Degree Level Students can work 20 hours per week while they study. Students are allowed 4 months (16 weeks’) holiday per 12 month enrolment and permitted to work full time during holiday periods.
Progression is through exams which are held independently from the College.
Certificate and Diploma Level:
Students have to complete 15 hours of supervised study at the college per week
Students can only work 10 hours per week while they study.
Students need to do an English Test (IELTS) prior to visa application
Students are allowed 4 months (16 weeks’) holiday per 12 month enrolment and permitted to work full time during holiday periods.
Progression is through exams which are held independently from the College.

Given UK immigration requirements change regularly, you are advised to speak to your local OVC Consultant for the latest information and advice.

Under the UK Points Based System, prospective students are required to score 40 points in order to be considered for a UK Tier 4 Student visa.

10 Points - having enough money to cover your course fees and monthly living costs (maintenance funds)
30 Points - awarded for Sponsorship from a UK licensed educational establishment.  

To gain sponsorship from a College you need to demonstrate you have:
• Enrolled and been accepted on a suitable course of study
• Paid the College fees for the first 12 months of your course
• Have available funds to support yourself for the first 12 months of study in the UK
This money needs to be in your account for 28 days before application is submitted.
