Position The Thai Government School system ordered 150 ESL qualified teachers for the school term that starts in November 2011. The Schools are requesting Caucasian ESL Teachers with degree or without a degree, which holds a 120 hour TEFL and 6 days Thai Emersion and Culture (TEC) training certificate. The contract will be for a year. Description If you have already completed a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate, we will be able to assist you in finding employement in Thailland. There are constantly governemnet and language schools that require qualified ESL Teachers all through the year. The Thai Government School system ordered 150 ESL qualified teachers for the school term that starts in November 2011. The Schools are requesting Caucasian ESL Teachers with degree or without a degree, which holds a 120 hour TEFL and 6 days Thai Emersion and Culture (TEC) training certificate. The contract will be for a year. Salaries: • Degree Holders: 30,000 to 35,000 baht per month • Non Degree Holders: 25,000 baht per month *Food and Accommodation may or may not be included and varies from school to school. In most cases, the school will assist the teacher in finding appropriate accommodation close to the school. The above positions are 100% guaranteed. Eligibility • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Graduate • A native or fluent English speaker, with excellent skills in both spoken and written English • Able to produce work of a high standard • Possess an awareness of language and a competence in English, both written and spoken, that enables the course to be undertaken successfully. • In excellent mental and physical health • Committed, presentable and reliable • No degree or previous teaching experience is required for the course     Start/Finish Dates 1st Monday of every month all through the year. Visa Info You will apply for a 12 month ED Visa and OVC will assist you completely with this process. Please allow at least 5 weeks for the Visa process Cost Admin fee R500.00 Program fee BHT20,900.00 (Approx R4,850.00) Other fees Accommodation: BHT700.00 per night (excl W&E and meals) Visa fees BHT12,500.00 (approx. R2,950.00) Travel Insurance R1,650.00 Airfare (approx) R8,000.00 Recommended Spending Money R12K to R15k Application APPLICATION FEE R500. This is payable to your OVC office and is for assistance with enrolment and the visa application process. OVC will also make all your travel arrangements and issue your travel and medical insurance. Once a conditional offer of acceptance has been made, you will need to pay the course fees in full to receive your registration documentations. More Info In Asia, you will receive an orientation and assistance with all aspects of settling and living in Asia. You will be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation, which will be arranged before you arrive. You will be offered assistance with finding employment after you successfully completed the course.
