You can enrol for a one year business diploma or a two year hospitality diploma. Upon graduation you will be eligible for a one year open work permit. Our NZ partner will assist you to find work. Should you wish to then stay on in New Zealand you may be eligible to apply for a work permit extension and permanent residency. OVC is an authorized agent for one of New Zealand’s most reputable hospitality and business schools. If you would like to gain a diploma in Hospitality (2 years) or Business (1 year) through a recognized overseas educational institution, then don’t delay. This is an incredible opportunity. What is more, you can work while you study and upon graduation you will be assisted in obtaining a professional work placement and a one year open work permit. Should you then wish to make New Zealand your home, you may then be eligible to apply for a work permit extension and eventually permanent residency and citizenship. This is a genuine and logical step to a brilliant future in a growing first world country. Courses are New Zealand Qualification Authority approved Level 5. Business Diploma (Tuition Fee NZ$ 14 500, please note that this is for enrolment for the courses starting Feb and May 2010, thereafter the normal tuition fee of NZ$ 16 900 will apply) - Preparation for small to medium sized business administration. Specialized training in business planning, communication, financial analysis, accounting, administration, HR, marketing, quality and time management. Employment opportunities in management, marketing, HR, office and accounts administration. Hospitality Diploma (Tuition fee NZ$ 17 500 per year) - Specialized training in hospitality skills, food and beverage management, rooms management, accounting, HR, quality management, sales and marketing. Employment opportunities in event, hotel, resort and bar management. Eligibility To be eligible you need to have passed matric and must demonstrate a good command of the English language. You could apply at any age over 18 and would need no previous experience. It is important to make sure that you have a passport that is valid for at least two years.     Start/Finish Dates The Hospitality & Business courses have four intakes per year: Dates for 2010:   22 February   10 May   26 July   11 October. Study terms are similar to those in South Africa and holidays between terms are of similar length - allowing sufficient opportunity to explore New Zealands spectacular scenery and enjoy its diverse culture. Visa Info OVC will assist you to apply for a New Zealand study visa once you have registered, been accepted for a course of study and paid the relevant fees. The student visa allows you to work for up to 20 hours per week and full time in your student holidays. It is important to allow for 2 - 3 months for your study registration and your visa application to be accepted and approved. It will be required that you or a sponsor provide some proof of funds for your visa application. You will also be required to have a police clearance certificate and to visit a designated doctor for a medical examination and x-ray before your visa is approved. Application APPLICATION FEE R500. This is payable to your OVC office and is for assitance with enrolment and the visa application process. OVC will also make your travel arrangements and issue your travel and medical insurance. We will need a copy of your passport and your matric certificate and any other higher qualification certificates. Once a conditional offer of acceptance has been made you will need to pay the first years course fees in full to receive your registration documents. These are needed before you can apply for the student visa. More Info In New Zealand you will receive an orientation and assistance with all aspects of settling and living in New Zealand. Your accommodation will be arranged before you arrive.
