Agronomy Job Opportunity , South Dakota Wheat Growers, Aberdeen, South Dakota - (H2B Visa) Job Description ---- Deliver products and services to customers in a prompt, reliable manner. Assist in maintenance & cleanliness of facility, equipment and grounds. Assist in loading and blending all grains. Operate machinery & equipment as required. Prepare rail cars for loading and shipment. Greet customers in courteous manner. Understand and follow all safety and company rules and regulations. Hours ----40 hours per week; Overtime varies. Job Duration --- April 1st, 2010 through December 15th, 2010. Housing --- Average housing ranges from $200 to $400 per month. This housing will be arranged however it will be deducted off your wages. Airline Tickets ---- PLEASE NOTE - THis position is an H2B visa and your AIRLINE TICKET IS NOT REFUNDED TO YOU. Experience --- No experience necessary. Able to drive semi trucks. Agricultural and manual labor background very beneficial. Additional Requirements ----Equivalent to CDL Drivers License.
Weed Control Job Opportunity Miller, South Dakota (H2B) Job Description --- Will work under supervision of invasive weed control manager or crew leader. Control invasive weed by applying chemicals to infested areas with spot spraying equipment. Record and file records on applications as law requires. Use navigational tools to locate infested areas. Maintain application equipment for mechanical and operational readiness. Extensive travelling required, long periods away from home. Hours ---- 40 hours per week; Overtime varies. Job Duration ---- April 1st, 2010 through November 30th, 2010. Housing ----- Average housing ranges from $200 to $400 per month. Experience ---- Must have valid driver’s license. Beekeeping Job (H2A) Area --- Carrington, North Dakota Job Description --- Assist with all aspects of commercial beekeeping. Lifting bee boxes, operating forklifts, loading flatbed trucks with bees to be transported to bee yards, setting up bee yards and feeding bees. Check honey flow, as well as harvest and extract honey from frames. Fill barrels with honey. Sanitize work areas and perform routine maintenance. Hours --- 40 hours per week; Overtime varies. Job Duration --- February 20th, 2010 through December 1st, 2010. Housing --- Housing is provided free of charge to the worker. Experience --- Experience in beekeeping greatly preferred. Workers not experienced must show a desire or passion to learn about beekeeping and honey production. Not afraid/allergic to bees/pollen. Applicants must be able to lift 75 lbs. repetitively. **BEEKEEPING IS A VERY LABOR INTENSIVE POSTION AND WILL INVOLVE LIFTING UP TO 75 POUND HIVES ALL DAY LONG DURING PORTIONS OF THE SEASON**

Once your I-94/Visa has expired you are required to return home unless you can secure another H2A position. If you can we can extend your stay of status for up to 3 years. You must know that if you desert the job your visa will be revoked and you will be required to return home immediately. Also, you are only eligible to work for the employer listed on your visa.

Wages, Are dependant from the Job offer
Travel for H2A visa applications ONLY Employer will pay workers inbound travel expenses upon completion of 50% of job contract and will pay outbound travel expenses upon completion of 100% of job contract. Travel to and from worksite will be provided by employer free of charge to the worker. H2B visa applicants will need to be responsible for their OWN airline ticket to America and back.
Three-Quarters Guarantee All placed workers are guaranteed at least ¾’s of the job offer. Workers must understand that agricultural jobs are extremely versatile. Normally hours greatly exceed 40 hours per week. However, agriculture is a unique industry in that it is contingent upon uncontrollable factors, such as weather patterns. Therefore, the ¾’s guarantee is set in place to protect the worker in the event that such circumstances impair the season’s expectations
